DIFFERENT AUTISTIC MINDS: AUTISM SPECTRUM COGNITIVE DIVERSITY IN SMALL BUSINESS GROUPS

摘要

The cognitive diversity offered by the different minds of autism is considered in anentrepreneurial context. Autistic cognitive diversity may be beneficial to an entrepreneurialgroup’s success, opportunity recognition, motivation, and innovation. The different minds ofmany with autism may offer cognitive diversity that could allow for greater success for anentrepreneurial group. The most important extension to this work would be finding othersituations in which the autistic mind has the potential to transcend the present perception of itbeing nothing but a handicap.
