摘要

The sensitivity of nitrocellulose-based propellants to the firing temperature has been investigated by closed vessel tests, ballistic firing and impact tests. The studied propellants have different nitroglycerin contents, different deterrent types and different geometries (spherical, flattened or cylindrical). It has been shown that the geometry of the propellants is the factor having the greatest influence on the temperature sensitivity.
