Cloud-based Car Safety Management Service Using a Video Event Data Recorder

The number of traffic accidents in Japan is decreasing by the recent improvements of car performances, and traffic infrastructures as well as strengthening related regulations. But we have to say that it is still in a quite high level. This trend is not only in Japan but also in several other advanced countries. A company may get a serious damage when involved in car accidents. Therefore many companies are trying to prevent to be involved in car accidents. But if you try to achieve this, you need to bear with some expenses and efforts. For this solution, NEC provides a cloud-based car management system called KURUMIE /ku-ru-mi-e/ which will lessen the expenses and efforts. In this issue, we will introduce how KURUMIE is functioning and responding to the user’s demand.
