An Analysis on the Operating Effects of Beijing Urban Intelligent Transportation Management Systems

Since Beijing urban Intelligent Transportation Management Systems (ITMS) have been putinto use, its operation effects as well as the comprehensive social benefits are much concerned.This article analyzed the structure and the inter-relationship of Beijing ITMS, then putforward a practical and innovative analysis method to study this system, and finally obtainedthe evaluation indexes of its comprehensive social benefits by calculating. At the same time,by using the analysis method, we also identified the ultimate contribution rate of theevaluation indexes that Beijing urban intelligent transportation management and controlsystem has made. Finally, we clearly explained the application of these indexes whenevaluating the social economic benefits of the system.
