The fault destroyed the continuity of rockmass. Near the fault stress distribution is changeable, that's the primary cause of roof fall about stope and tunnel. Articles by numerical simulation analysis of stress distribution, displacement and deformation characteristics of roof under the influence of fault, conclusion is that near the fault the plastic zone of roadway similar to suspended, the displacement and the stress in the faults have undergone mutation, it can be seen the yieled zone, the displacement and the stress are subjected to the fault shielding because of the interaction of the interface with the crack of fault for both cases above. and thus get tunnel support structure of the location and characterics; Those results provide the theory basis for control of roadway under influence of fault.
