摘要

Based on the model of cantilever beam, a mathematic model of a gravity-gradient satellite is constructed in this paper by using modal synthesis method. To damp and control the satellite, a magnetic coil is applied on the z axis of the body coordinate system. After some attitude simulation, we get the result which denotes that the flexibility of the gravity gradient boom will not affect the stability of the satellite.
