La-doped TiO2/Ti photoelectrodes were prepared by anodization and characterized by SEM, XRD, XPS and UV/VIS/NIR. Photoelectrocatalytic (PEC) performance of La-doped TiO2/Ti photoelectrodes under visible light irradiation was tested. The results of these experiments showed that La-doped TiO2/Ti photoelectrodes prepared under voltage of 160 V, the current density of 100 mA/cm2, La(NO3)3 concentration of 800 mg/L has optimal photoelectrocatalytic performance in Rhodamine B degradation process. Rhodamine B removal efficiency and PEC oxidation were improved 20% and 5% respectively, by La-doped TiO2/Ti photoelectrodes than by undoped under visible light region irradiation.
