A new kind of one dimensional(1-D) nano -material was successfully prepared by introducing Poly (methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) into a kind of track etch nano-hole polymer films via polymerization. The dielectric characteristics of these nano-materials were investigated by high-voltage device and precision impedance analyzer etc. This kind of 1-D nano -material exhibits a better dielectric strength than the original polymer film, indicating potential applications in research of high voltage.
