摘要

Many methods are used for analyzing ECG signal to predict cardiac events. The most recent suggested method is T-wave alternans. TWA refers to beat-to-beat variations of T-wave. This alternans is used as a predictor of mortal arrhythmia and sudden cardiac death (SCD). In this paper, we presented a new time domain approach based on searching local maxima after S location. Using an adaptive threshold, beats are separated. Then, they can be used in the processing stage of T detecting. The database which is used in this paper, is well known MIT-BIH database, available on Physionet website. Designed algorithm applied on 19 records of this database.
