There are some systems that they contain some stable states separated by the energy barriers. The movement between those states is able to complicate their dynamics. One of the simple man-made systems which is able to show a complicated and chaotic behavior is the Forced Duffing Oscillator. In this paper, we introduce the differential equation which describes the Forced Duffing Oscillator, and also, we focus our attention on the chaotic mood. Finally, we apply the OGY method in order to control the chaotic behavior in the system. We regulate the system's unstable poles using a new approach which is based on the Generalized Routh-Hurwitz criterion in discrete dynamical systems point of view.
