Penetration experiments with 35CrMnSiA long-rod projectile are performed on steel fiber reinforced concrete (SFRC) with different steel fiber volume fraction by using DOP methods,in order to study the effect of long-rod projectile's striking velocity and steel fiber volume fraction on SFRC's anti-penetration.Experimental results show that as the striking velocity increases,the penetration distance will increase.But the penetration distance of SFRC increases slower than the plain concrete,because the steel fiber can considerably enhance the penetration resistance of concrete.As the steel fiber volume fraction increases,the penetration distance and the crater diameter will decrease remarkably.The research fruit can be used to instruct the design of defence project and warhead project.
