A Brief Discussion on Impacts of Technology on the Development of Art Design

摘要

All of art design activities must be based on the development of curtain technology which covered all the productive achievements of mankind's.Technology is the sum of tools,instruments,devices,facilities,languages,and information records by which the human beings can survive.The significant progresses and innovations in science and technology not only characterize the manmade objects' form,function,material,color and decoration,but also change the ways and processes of art design itself,as well as the concepts and values contained in the art design works.The paper attempt to provide an new perspective on the study of art design history by shifting the research clue from art toward technology.
