For the determination of amount of the carbon black (CB) in the polymer compounds, TGmethod is widely used. However this method is point out the loss- precision, in case of polymer makesresidual carbon during thermal decomposition.This work reports to apply simulation of heating rate conversion1) to the TG method, andimprovement of CB determination. Chloroprene rubber which produces residual carbon among therubbers. Chloroprene rubber with CB compounded with different ratio is prepared. This simulationmethod is applied. The residual carbon and added CB can be more accurately separated and the accuracyof DB quantitative measurements can be improved.
