Using Information Technology to Assist People with Disabilities

People with disabilities rely heavily on technology for their independence and increasingly technology is being used more extensively for clinical decision making to support evidence-based-practice. Arguably, technology is the single most important intervention and tool mat can be applied to help overcome a functional deficit. As computing power becomes lower cost and sensors more readily available the possibilities to assist people with disabilities expand.
