摘要

The modified method of electrostatic spray pyrolysis was designedto apply protective coatings based on Mn-Co spinel to ferriticstainless steels (Crofer22APU and 08X18T1). The comparativethermogravimetric (TG) studies of ferritic stainless steels with andwithout protective coatings were carried out. The electrochemicalcharacteristics of protective coatings exposed to long currentloading were studied. The formation of the Mn-Cr spinel wasobserved and studied at the contact between the ferrite stainlesssteel and the Mn-Co spinel. The coatings of Mn-Co spinel wereshown preventing formation of continuous Cr_2O_3 oxide film on thestainless steel surface.
