In order to effectively decrease the high prevalenceof malaria in Moheli Island of Comoros archipelago, aFast Eliminating Malaria by Source Eradication (FEMSE)project was carried out there from November 2007 toNovember 2008. The malaria prevalence has beendramatically reduced and no people died of malaria inMoheli in 2008.
