摘要

Magnetic shape memory alloy (MSMA) is a new intelligent material that could produce large stain under magnetic field, and also have the shape memory function. Use its characteristics of magnetic controlled, we can produce intelligent actuator used on Vibration Control of the Structure. This article first introduced the deform principe and characteristics under magnetic field of MSMA, then design two kinds of MSMA actuator that might apply in vibration control of the structure, and analyzed its principle of work and the design method. AT last MSMA reversr characteristics,key technology and solution of the MSMA self-sensing actuator are described. This study would lay a good foundation for MSMA's application in civil engineering.
