摘要

The dam of Xiluodu Hydropower Station is a double -curved concrete arch type. Excavation for its right abutment slot is characterized by large height difference (about 210m) , strict requirement in slot contour, rigid control for presplitting boreholes on a long smooth slope and less impact from blasting vibration. Bench blasting in combination with presplitting technique have been adopted. During construction, according to local topography and rock properties, blasting parameters have been rationally adjusted and finally result is result is obtained, as well as the time meets the requirements of designer.
