Commissioned by the manufacturer, this study conducts a research on the young female users of household soymilk makers with the goal-directed method. Through contextual inquiry, we carried out tests and interviews on the users, compared and analyzed the results by videos on6; screenshots, and then verified them again through questionnaire, thereby initially revealing the target usersȁ9; behavioral patterns in using soymilk makers. To define the requirements of the target users, we organized the user information by means of ȁC;personaȁD; to reify the users. Finally, based on brainstorm, we found out the specific requirements of Susan in using soymilk maker through ȁC;persona-based scenarioȁD;, thus giving a clear direction for the follow-up design.
