A New Theory of Innovation

Innovations are created in many ways that are not well understood. Most often innovations emergeincrementally building upon previous innovations. This paper offers a novel methodology of innovation. Itinvolves various pathways products/services have followed before their successful launch in the market.Evolutionary computation methodologies, combinatorial methods, automation, and disruptive generationform the underlying concepts of the innovation methodology. The methodology is presented with industrialexamples and computational results.
