Based on the analysis of the first-fit arithmetic and dynamic equidimension memory allocation arithmetic, this paper proposes a new solution of dynamic memory management applied in embedded system. With the appending of dynamic equidimension memory table in the first-fit arithmetic, time spent in releasing the memory blocks is no longer dependent on the length of the allocated linked table. Meanwhile a statistical mechanism for memory demand is added to further enhance the realization efficiency of the arithmetic.
