Insulation Co-ordination based on 1100kV High Performance Surge Arresters

摘要

Metal oxide surge arresters born in Japan has greatly contributed to the standardization on insulation co-ordination. Ultra High Voltage (UHV)1100kV systems of Japan have been verified more than10 years in 2008. And also, UHV1100kV systems of China will be scheduled to be operated in China at next year. On the other hand, standardization works of UHV systems are active in the world. This paper describes insulation co-ordination of UHV systems based on 1100kV high performance GIS-arresters that have been established in Japan.
