Legal personalization of non-profit sport organizations in Japan and how it might develop in China

@@ Introduction Japan has been leading the world in the field of Sport-for-All, and its high performance sports have also made excellent progress in recent years. In the Athens Olympic Games, Japan drew attention from the world by winning 16 gold medals and ranking fifth in the total medals counts. While Japan's sound sport administration system and operational mechanisms are often mentioned for such success, the role of nongovernment sport is ignored. In fact, non-government sport organizations have become one of the important pillars of Japanese sports. The purpose of this paper was to analyze the legal management and operational mechanism for Japanese non-government sport organizations and to discuss how Chinese nongovernment sport organizations can model after such legal management and operation mechanisms in Japan.
