A Study of the Effects on Mechanical Properties of WPC due to Small Inclusions of Glass Fiber Reinforcements (GRF)

摘要

Improvements in tensile strength and flexural strength of wood plastic composites (WPC) can be achieved by strengthening them with small amounts of glass fiber re-enforcements (GFR), thereby, increasing their utility in many applications. Effects of small variations in the concentration of GFR, on the mechanical properties of WPC, are examined in this paper.
