Traditionally in the mountains region of central Japan, wooden storehouse had been constructed to stock foods and house staffs until modern age. By the recent our research, it has been assumed that such structural form developed according to the scale transition of farmer's storehouse, multilayer the supply situation of wood resource, and the transition of lumbering technology during early modern age. On the other hand paying attention to how to operate them by farmers in this area, it transfers between in the village and village away.
