摘要

We present a simple route to synthesize magnetically separable porous carbon from oil residues and ferric trichloride. The resultant composites were characterized by nitrogen adsorption at 77K, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and the magnetism measurement. The results showed that the magnetic porous carbons exhibit a surface area of 300m~2/g and low coercivity of 0.169 kOe. It will be a promising adsorbent for liquid treatment such as water cleaning and oil purification.
