A PVA thin film in which multiwall carbon nanotubes were included was prepared on a glass substrate in the magnetic field. XRD pattern results and DFM observations showed that the nanotubes were located parallel to the substrate surface in the zero field. In contrast, they were located perpendicularly to the substrate in the magnetic field. Furthermore, a PVA thin film was prepared without any substrates at microgravity condition produced by the magnetic field.
