Changes in the Way Polyurethane Soling Materials are Supplied to the Footwear Industry

This paper outlines the types of soling material available for footwear production, the overall size of the footwear market and how this has influenced the total soling market and more specifically the position of polyurethane as a soling material. It then looks at the position of polyurethane over the time period 2000 to 2006 with forecasts out to 2012 and finishes by defining how the movement of footwear production has changed the way polyurethane systems are supplied.
