New Developments on Methylal, a Recently SNAP Approved Blowing Agent

Methylal is a new SNAP approved blowing agent with a lower environmental, health and safety profile. This paper describes properties and flammability behavior of polyols - Methylal blends and a comparison with Cyclopentane. It also describes the use of Methylal as sole blowing agent and as co-blowing agent with Cyclopentane.
