Preparation and application of isocyanate as a raw material of medical elastomer were introduced in this paper. 1,4-diisocyanatobutane which starts with biomass as raw material was synthesized. Medical Polyurethane elastomer was synthesized by polymerization of BDI, proper chain extender and prepolymer. Structure characterization and property evaluation of the medical elastomer was studied.
