Insulin was entrapped into nanoparticles obtained by complexation of dextran sulfate and chitosan in aqueous environment. The hypoglycemic effect after oral administration clearly demonstrated the ability of these nanoparticles to control glucose blood levels, more pronounced in diabetic conditions.
