While individual ants exhibit very simple intelligence patterns, ant colony behavior and the relationships between multiple ants is more sophisticated and complex. Each individual ant can be considered as an agent and colony behavior and collaborative activity can be modeled in a multi-agent system. For efficient execution and agent modeling, the A~* path finding algorithm is applied to find the shortest routes. This paper describes the simulation of ant colony behavior in a multi-agent software system.
