The use of Information Technology (IT) has a significant impact on boosting economic wealth in the 21st century. However, it has become more difficult for new IT graduates to find a related job since the fall of the IT industry. IT Governance is one area in which an IT graduate could consider beginning an IT career. It will help IT graduates define what specific IT skills are needed to fit in the changing IT world. This paper explores IT Governance and how it could be a viable career path for new IT graduates.
