HOW TO MANAGE COLLABORATIVE TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER -THE INNO-VENTION EXPERIENCE

Based on the latest methodological developments in the area of Collaborative Innovation Management, combining the effectiveness of proactive TTT as complement to traditional market pull and technology push approaches, INNO-Vention project objective is to fully exploit the European excellence in Transnational Technology Transfer (TTT) and available networks and initiatives. The project involves organizations that are part of leading networks as the European Space Agency Technology Transfer Network (ESA TTP) and the Innovation Relay Centres (IRC) network, to set-up an experimental but concrete action by means of a pilot service targeting three European lead sectors, namely aerospace, automotive and textile as pilot areas for promising cross-sectoral TTT opportunities. The pilot audience consists of SMEs, Large enterprises, Industrial Associations and Groupings, Universities and Research Centres as well as technology brokers, development agencies and even individuals as beneficiaries of or sources for TTT. The implemented methodologies as well as the preliminary results achieved in the first year provide a clear indication on the opportunities generated by this collaborative approach to innovation.
