Piezoelectric Hybrid Laminated Composites are very useful structures, because they are not only strong and stiff, but also can actuate and sense themselves. In addition, their characteristics are tailorable by selecting thier lamination configuration and applied volatage distribution. Therefore it is very important to investigate optimization of these design parameters. It is well known that optimization using lamination paramters are efficient about laminated composites. Similarly, optimization using middle design paramters might be efficient about piezoelectric hybrid laminated composites. In this paper, new middle design paramters named as extended lamination parameters are introduce. And the optimal method using extended lamination parameters needs a feasible region of them where the parameters correspond to actual lay-up configuration and voltage distribution. This research also shows that the region of 10 parameters is obtained by numerical method based on variational approach.
