This paper deals with the transformation of Indian Remote Sensing Satellite Missions, born as national missions to global missions, now serving the international users in multiple fields of applications. If the growing number of International Ground Stations and Resellers across the globe is any indication, the programme and the business partners are successful in meeting the user requirements and carrying the necessary improvements from time to time for bettering the products and services. It is known fact that, the Global Geospatial market has been expanding over the years. While the number of service providers in the value addition, software and solutions have multiplied in number, the number of space based remote sensing data providers has been confined to a handful of agencies and notable among them is the Indian space agency, ISRO. The paper discusses the approach followed by ISRO in developing the technology, keeping pace with the trends in technology and user requirements and efforts through its marketing and commercial arm Antrix Corporation in reaching the benefits to the global customers. The discussion centres around the marketing mix of Product, Price, Place and Promotion required for winning the customer's confidence as a reliable and long-term source of supply, as customised to a speciality service like space based remote sensing data services. The wide range of missions in orbit, for meeting multiple applications and the new missions planned to meet the currently unmet and new applications in the global geospatial markets are also discussed.
