摘要

In June 2005 a barge shock test (according to MIL S 901 D procedure) on a series of typical ducts fornaval ship has been executed by Fincantieri in cooperation with Italian Navy, in order to obtain a designstandard methodology for shock –proof ducts plants.The derived design standard allows, for future constructions, to avoid the execution of the traditionalFinite Elements shock verifications with too conservative loads adopted for the usual definition of thecontractual shock requirements; this means that in early design phase is possible to make an appropriatechoice of the correct shock-proof duct design, avoiding any type of FEM verification.
