Study on test method of line-charging current switching for UHV circuitbreaker

摘要

This paper mainly introduces two synthetic test circuits for line-charging currentswitching for UHV circuit breakers. By analyzing and comparing process of linechargingcurrent breaking for UHV without parallel opening resistors and withopening resistors, a direct test method of line-charging current switching for UHVcircuit-breaker without parallel opening resistors and with opening resistors arepresented in this paper, and the test circuits of two circuit breakers have beensimulated and compared by PSCAD software.
