摘要

In this paper, the dielectric recovery property of 550kV SF6 circuit breaker under short circuit breaking was taken as the investigated object. The dynamics of hydraulic-mechanism, the gas flow field, the dynamic arc modeling and the electric field were coupled and calculated at each numerical simulation step. The hybrid of FVM+MGM was used for the coupled calculation. The simulated dielectric recovery property of short circuit breaking has been detected by Four Parameter Method of instantaneous recovery voltage. It shows that the short breaking capability requirement for investigated circuit breaker is well satisfied.
