In simulation softwares, the finite element analysis of large three-dimensional applications is often performed on hybrid meshes involving tetrahedral, hexahedral, prismatic and pyramidal elements. In the particular context of the computation of electromagnetic fields, vector finite elements are designed to be conforming in the Sobolev space H(curl). In this paper, we propose a simple methodology for the construction of such finite elements using polynomial spaces and rational functions. Numerical results are provided from FLUX software.
