摘要

The technological innovation in highways goes directed to get better energetic and environmental efficiency. The study of Cuban natural additive, such as the waxes from the sugar cane and henequen and natural zeolite deposit a working, they constitute potential sources for the reduction of the energy demands in the asphalt industry in Cuba. The paper exposes the sugar cane wax evaluation, as additive incorporated into asphalt binder to modify the high temperatures viscosities, as initial stage to develop the investigations related to warm mix asphalt.
