Conventional hydro power machines using rotating turbine runners as energy transfer devices requiring higher head-heights and water depth for successful application, none of which are normally available in the shallow waters flowing through the cities of the USA Great Plaines nor near typical tidal flow sites. The Mega Power version of the patent pending machine described in here uses Lift and Water Hammer Forces acting on a submerged horizontal oscillating mono blade spanning the river, sometimes used in conjunction with an inflatable rubber dam, to produce a smooth controllable constant rotary output speed under variable flow conditions. Another version of this machine uses the same techniques, but it is arrayed within a modular siphon-draft tube system that bolts on to the existing Low Head dams (<~10 meters high). Both machines are designed to be with only limited visual impact and require minimal civil engineering works.
