摘要

Most existing single point optical probes suffer from the phenomenon that distance measurement is dependent on surface tilt. This is a major obstacle for measurement of free-form aspherics with nanometer accuracy. We present a differential confocal probe design which solves the problem of tilt dependency by two new approaches.
