Porcine Pleuropneumonia and Glasser's Disease - A Perspective from a 'Borderless' Australia

This paper has provided an overview of the porcine pleuropneumonia and Glasser's disease research performed at the Animal Research Institute. The emphasis of the review has been on current work and with a perspective that reflects the theme of this conference - a"borderless" Asia. There are many people who have contributed their skills and expertise to this research program. In particular, all past and present members of our research group have contributed significantly to our progress. Our work has not been possible without the support of the Australian pig industry (specifically Australian Pork Limited and the Pork CRC) and Bioproperties Pty Ltd (an Australian biotechnology/vaccine company).
