Analysis of the Influencing Factors of Entrepreneur on the International Performance in SMEs: An Empirical Research Based on the Experience of Pearl River Delta, PRC

This paper is based on the data collected from 144 SMEs in Pearl River Delta(PRD) in P.R.China. From the data, we point out that there are four factors of the factor of entrepreneurship that may affect the performance of the Small and Medium-sized Enterprises(SMEs): overseas market orientation, the experience of internationalization, the ability to use the network of industrial relation and the ability to use the network relation of government. The research shows that there is a positive relationship between the performance of the SME's internationalization and overseas market orientation, the entrepreneur's experience of internationalization, the ability to use the network of industrial relation and the ability to use the network relation of government. Compared with the ability to use the network of industrial relation and the ability to use the network relation of government, the other two factors overseas market orientation and the entrepreneur's experience of internationalization have a weaker and more unstable relationship. Among the factors, the ability to use the network of industrial relation and the ability to use the network relation of government can stably stimulate the improvement of promote the performance of the SMEs' internationalization.
