Summing Up the Contributions of the Hazardous Substance Research Center/South Southwest

For the past 15 years, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's HazardousSubstance Research Center/South & Southwest (HSRC/S&SW) has advanced thestate of practice in contaminated sediment management through a varied program ofresearch, technology transfer, and community outreach. This paper focuses on thecontributions of this university-based consortium to sediments management, theenvironment in which the center has worked, and the center's distinctive approach totechnology transfer.
