A dual stator winding squirrel-cage induction generator-series connected ac-dc boost PWM rectifiers system producing a dc power at regulated two or three dc voltage levels is proposed. The operability regions of the generator are explored using the steady-state model of the generator and the converters while accounting for the effects of the magnetizing flux saturation in the generator. Nonlinear input-output linearization controller design methodology is deployed to achieve a high performance output dc voltage regulations. Computer simulation and some experimental results confirm the useful of the analysis and control techniques for this dc voltage generator scheme.
