New Polyester Polyols for Low-Density Polyurethane Shoe-Soles

After the introduction of polymeric polyesters for shoe-soles 20 years ago, Synthesia is willing to present another breakthrough in the field of reinforced polyesters: the use and stabilization of nanoclays. The brand new TNN family of products have been tested in microcellular and compact elastomers showing interesting effects on mechanical properties and skin formation. Finally, low-density sandals and mid-soles have been produced successfully on a semi-industrial scale using polyesters containing nanoclay.
