摘要

Product quality is first decided by design then by manufacturing, so the design process is most crucial for enterprises' competitiveness. In all the methodologies of product design, QFD, TRIZ and Taguchi method each contributes to one aspect of the design process, so the integration of them become an unbeatable powerhouse of Customer Driven Robust Innovations. QFD gathers and translates customers' requirements into design requirements, TRIZ provides means for problem solvers to acquire the good solutions, and Taguchi method determines the design specifications for a product to be insensitive to uncontrolled influences. The relations between these powerful quality control tools had been discussed deeply, and the case study prove that the integration of QFD, TRIZ and Taguchi method can help the designers to open their mind, get the direction to solve the contradiction in product innovation, accomplish the parameters design, reduce design time and yield an innovative customer-driven product design process.
