A MADM METHOD FOR PROJECT SELECTION IN SIX SIGMA MANAGEMENT

According to the theories of six sigma management and decision analysis, a multiple attribute decision making (MADM) method for the problem of project selection in six sigma management is proposed. In this paper, firstly, based on the features of project selection in six sigma management, according to the principles of system, feasibility, multi-purposes and pragmatism, a decision index system is established. And then the calculation steps are given by the use of the simple additive weighting method. Finally, a numerical example is used to illustrate the use of the proposed method.
